Savannah Sunrise
A Savannah brunch should feel easy, a little indulgent and full of Southern charm. Pair your Savannah sunrise with classics like shrimp and grits, buttery biscuits and crispy fried green tomatoes. A peach French toast wouldn’t be a bad idea, either!
Ingredients :
- ice cubes
- 1-1/2 ounces blanco tequila
- 3/4 ounce peach schnapps liqueur
- 1-1/2 ounces orange juice
- 1-1/2 ounces peach nectar or juice
- 1/4 ounce creme de cassis
- prosecco or dry sparkling wine, for topping
- peach or orange slice, for garnish
Directions
- Fill a tall cocktail glass, such as a highball or a Collins glass, with ice cubes. Pour tequila, peach liqueur, orange juice and peach nectar or juice into the glass, in that order. Drizzle creme de cassis over a barspoon or down the side of the glass so it flows to the bottom. Top with a splash of prosecco or dry sparkling wine. Garnish with a peach or orange slice. Serve immediately.
