Turkey Breast

Aside from eating it as the main course, you can also use an air-fryer turkey breast to prepare these tasty leftover turkey recipes. A turkey potpie or homemade turkey soup are filling meal options, or try Ross Geller’s “Moist Maker” sandwich from Friends for a lighter lunch choice.

Ingredients :

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh oregano
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh sage
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 pounds bone-in, skin-on turkey breast, thawed

Directions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, butter, herbs, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Rub an even coating of herb butter on all sides of the turkey breast.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 350°. Place the turkey breast in the air fryer basket skin-side down. Cook 22-26 minutes. Flip; cook an additional 25-35 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165° and skin is golden brown and crisp.
  3. Remove turkey from air fryer to a carving board. Cover with foil; rest 10 minutes. Remove meat from breast bone; carve into slices. Serve warm.
